# Axel Up > A.X.E.L (axel.trade) is a Manchester-based company. Its lead product, A.X.E.L Filing, lets small UK limited companies file their own company accounts and CT600 Corporation Tax return for £49, and anyone file their own Self Assessment for £35, with company and personal tax worked out live and together. It also runs a job management platform for tradesmen and builds hand-coded websites. ## Why A.X.E.L Filing - A working draft, not a form filled in once: every answer works the tax out again to the penny, and nothing is filed or paid for until the person says so - Company and personal tax geared together: the CT600's salary and dividends fill in the director's own Self Assessment, and the Tax cockpit shows corporation tax, income tax and National Insurance side by side, including what the next £1,000 of profit costs as a dividend, salary or pension contribution - Bring your own AI: Claude or ChatGPT connect over MCP and work on the real drafts with the same engine that files them. They show figures; the person decides and presses Submit - Self Assessment is free on GOV.UK and typically £150 to £400 + VAT with an accountant; A.X.E.L charges £35 (£25 alongside a CT600). The free CT600 route (CATO) closed on 31 March 2026 ## Products ### A.X.E.L Filing: company accounts and CT600 for £49 - For directors of small UK private limited companies who want to file their own year end - Prepares micro-entity accounts (FRS 105) and the CT600 Corporation Tax return, with the iXBRL tax computation, from one set of plain questions - Files accounts to Companies House and the CT600 to HMRC, using the director's own Government Gateway login - £49 for accounts and CT600 together, or either one alone. £20 for a dormant company. One-off, no subscription - The free HMRC and Companies House joint filing service (CATO) closed on 31 March 2026, so the CT600 now needs commercial software or an accountant. Accounts can still go to Companies House directly until software becomes compulsory there on 1 April 2028 - Free two-minute eligibility check first. Built for a single UK trade or a dormant company; not for groups, R&D claims, a company with rental income or chargeable gains, or companies above the micro-entity limits - Works with Claude and ChatGPT over MCP: the AI helps prepare the figures, the director reviews and presses Submit - A filing tool, not an accountancy service - URL: https://ct600.axel.trade ### A.X.E.L Filing: Self Assessment (SA100) - File your own 2025-26 Self Assessment tax return to HMRC with your own Government Gateway login. Open since 16 October 2026 - Covers self-employment (including CIS deductions), employment, UK rental income (Rent a Room relief, jointly owned lets, mortgage interest relief, replaced furniture, expenses split by type for larger portfolios, and property losses and unused mortgage interest brought and carried forward), savings, dividends, pension contributions, Gift Aid, student loans, Class 2 and Class 4 National Insurance and payments on account - Not covered: capital gains, foreign income, partnerships, trust income and life policy gains, non-UK residents, accounts not ending around 5 April, and transition profit - Free to prepare, with the tax worked out before you pay. £35 a return, £25 for a director who files their company's CT600 with A.X.E.L - URL: https://axel.trade/self-assessment ### UK trade and construction company directory - Free public pages for about 640,000 active UK limited companies in the trades and construction (builders, electricians, plumbers, roofers and similar), from Companies House data - Each page shows the company's next accounts and confirmation statement deadlines and its Corporation Tax dates, with up to ten years of balance sheet figures (net assets, cash, employees), officers and owners (initials only), charges, public contracts won, and the registered office area - Company page: https://axel.trade/company/{name-slug}-{company-number}, for example https://axel.trade/company/direct-cleaning-services-sw-09889191 - Index pages by trade and town: https://axel.trade/companies, for example https://axel.trade/companies/roofers/leeds - Sitemap: https://axel.trade/company-sitemaps/index.xml - Sources: Companies House (register, accounts, officers), Contracts Finder and Find a Tender (public contracts), ONS postcode data; Open Government Licence v3.0. Refreshed weekly - Good for questions like "when are this company's accounts due?" or "how many roofers are registered in Leeds?" - Accountancy practices: pages for about 5,100 UK accountancy companies whose registered office address is used by other companies, with each practice's Companies House details and how many companies (by trade) use that address as their registered office. Practice page: https://axel.trade/accountants/{name-slug}-{company-number}; by town: https://axel.trade/accountants/in/{town}, for example https://axel.trade/accountants/in/leeds; index: https://axel.trade/accountants ### Websites for Small Businesses & Tradesmen - Hand-coded, SEO-optimised websites from £497 - No templates, no monthly fees, no WordPress - Built on Next.js, deployed on Cloudflare Pages - Includes responsive design, schema markup, performance optimisation - Pay with Klarna (split into 3 payments) - URL: https://axel.trade ### A.X.E.L — Automated eXecutive for Every Lead - Job management platform built for trades and small businesses - Manage leads, quotes, invoices, jobs, expenses, timesheets, calendar, and team - MTD-ready digital records; direct MTD quarterly filing planned for 2027/28 - CIS deductions, subcontractor management, monthly returns - HMRC integration via Government Gateway (OAuth 2.0) - Open Banking via Open Banking (FCA-regulated) for bank transaction import - WhatsApp AI chatbot for automated lead capture - Voice features: Voice-to-Lead, Voice-to-Quote, Voice-to-Invoice - PWA — works on any device, installable on phone - URL: https://portal.axel.trade ## A.X.E.L Pricing | Plan | Price | Users | Key Features | |------|-------|-------|--------------| | The Apprentice | Free | 1 | 10 leads/month, calendar | | Lead Goblin | £19/mo | 1 | Unlimited leads, map view, quotes & invoicing | | The Grafter | £29/mo | 1 | + Job management, expenses, materials catalogue | | The Gaffer | £39/mo | 2 (+£12/extra) | + Team management, timesheets, P&L reports | | The Guv'nor | £59/mo | 5 (+£9/extra) | Full platform, custom branding, priority support | 30 days free A.X.E.L access included with every website build. ## Who Is This For? - Directors of small UK limited companies filing their own accounts and CT600 - Plumbers, electricians, builders, plasterers, roofers, landscapers - Any sole trader, trade or small business in the UK - Businesses that want a professional website without ongoing costs - Trades and small businesses who need simple job & lead management (not bloated enterprise software) ## Location - Based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK - Serves clients across the UK ## Contact - Website: https://axel.trade - Email: info@axel.trade - Phone: 07788 424 107 - X/Twitter: https://x.com/AXELTRADIE ## Links - [A.X.E.L Filing: accounts and CT600 for £49](https://ct600.axel.trade) - [What you need to file](https://axel.trade/what-you-need-to-file) - [Website Services](https://axel.trade/#websites) - [A.X.E.L Platform](https://axel.trade/#platform) - [Pricing](https://axel.trade/pricing) - [Blog](https://axel.trade/blog) - [Help Centre](https://axel.trade/help) - [About](https://axel.trade/about) - [Contact](https://axel.trade/contact)
